Board Break-a-Thon
Grand Master Yun is a firm believer of helping out the community through fundraising for charities. We host the Board Break-a-thon fundraiser annually with GREAT success. Past charities included raising money for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin for cancer research and most recently, raising over $10,000 for a family of 2 students that attend WMAA.
To raise money for this charity event, students take pledges for boards that they will break (5 boards). This is also a great opportunity to bring family, friends and those who donated money, to see your Taekwondo breaking techniques. Breaking boards wasn't just for students. Anyone who came to the event and made a donation were given boards to break as well! All proceeds go to the charity.
Such success couldn't be achieved without many of the parents and students volunteering their time to help setup and keep things running. Also contributing to the success are the determined students to raise as much money as they can for the fundraiser.
